Our Business

American Flooring and Interiors LLC. was created in 2005 as a result of a demand to provide a diverse company within the construction industry that can provide quality products with flawless installations and meet the needs of their clients who wish to integrate quality and service as they meet the goals of their customers. We take pride in being MBE and EDGE certified.

Staff

Gary Johnson :

President, Chief Executive Officer

Gary started American Flooring and Interiors LLC. with the idea of bidding work for commercial contractors who want the quality of work on their projects to exceed expectations. With over thirty years of business experience owning and operating several multi million dollars companies. Gary decided to become a franchise owner of a flooring business. After two years of residential flooring, Gary put his talents to work in the commercial flooring industry.He  handles all of the administrative responsibilities of the company and is involved in sales and operations.

Albert (Al) Hayes:

Vice President, Chief Operations Officer

Al started his career working as a carpenter in the trades and quickly went into management working for OCP Inc. After several decades of experience under his belt, both working in the trades and running a multi million Commercial interior finishes company, Al decided to open Lakeside Interior Finishes Company along with two partners grew it to a forty million dollar company before retiring. Al has since lleft retirement to run American Flooring Interiors with Gary Johnson and is heading up the estimating and field operations side of the company.

Rick Scheider:

Project Manager

Rick has been involved in the commercial flooring industry for over 30 years.  As a former owner of Scheider Dietrich, Rick has installed, estimated and bid  all types of flooring and worked in several other companies throughout the Toledo area. Rick currently holds the position of Project Manager and he supervises many of the awarded contracts.

David kleeberger:

Project Manager

David started his career as a  ceramic tile setter and marble mason and quickly became an authority on ceramic tile and marble applications. For the last eighteen years David has estimated and managed projects in excess of one million dollars and has recently brought his talents to American Flooring and Interiors where he holds the title of Project manager, and will estimate and manage many of the awarded projects.

We pride ourselves on using "INSTALL" flooring mechanics.
